Prerequisites: Active Army or Reserve Component enlisted Soldiers qualified in MOS 25B selected for SLC. SSG(P) and SFC have priority. Must have graduated from Advanced Leaders Course (ALC) or Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course (BNCOC). No temporary profiles unless the reason for the profile is a result of injuries sustained due to direct participation in OEF/OIF/GWOT. Soldiers affected must arrive at Fort Gordon with their temporary profile and a memorandum signed by their commander stating that the temporary profile is a direct result of injuries sustained due to participation in OEF/OIF/GWOT. All permanent profiles must have DA Form 3349 signed by commander. Pre-execution checklist must be completed and signed by commander. Soldiers must meet requirements outlined in AR 350-1, Army Training and Leader Development.


To provide leader and specialty training for Noncommissioned Officers (NCOs) in Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) 25B at Skill Level Four (SL4). Training will provide the student with the skills, knowledge and technical expertise to provide leadership in planning, supervising, coordinating and directing the employment, operation, management, and maintenance of information technology systems in mobile and fixed facilities at all echelons.


25B SLC students will receive Skill Level 4 resident technical training consisting of tasks related to Network Management from Cisco Certified Network Associate 4 (CCNA 4) and Command Post Of the Future (CPOF), Information Dissemination Management consisting of Microsoft Systems Center Configuration Manager and Structured Query Language (SQL). SLC students will also receive training to prepare the Army's Senior Noncommissioned Officers to lead both platoon and company operations while providing the necessary skills and attributes to lead and train Soldiers as a First Sergeant. The student will be challenged to apply skills and knowledge obtained in a tactical capstone field training exercise (FTX).
