CSM Teague

Command Sergeant Major Robert J. Teague assumed his current  duties as the Command Sergeant Major (CSM) of 67th Expeditionary Signal Battalion on 20 May 2016.

CSM Teague is originally from San Diego, California. He entered the Army in 1988. He attended Basic Training at Fort Jackson, SC and AIT at Fort Gordon, GA. He has served with the 24th Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA; United States Army South, Panama; 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, GA; United States Army Recruiting Command, Sacramento, CA; 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Polk, LA; 10th Mountain Division, Fort Polk, LA, Office Chief of Signal, Fort Gordon, GA; 8th Army G6, Seoul South Korea, and 7th ID G6, JBLM WA.

CSM Teague has served in every leadership position from Squad Leader to CSM. He has held leadership and staff positions at all levels from Company to Corps. CSM Teague deployed to Operation Desert Shield, Desert Storm, and twice to Operation Iraqi Freedom.

CSM Teague’s military education includes; BLC, ALC, SLC, Commander/First Sergeant Course, and the Sergeants Major Academy (Class 62). Some of his other military schools include Army Force Management Course, Battle Staff Course, Army Recruiter School, Hazardous Material Course, the Combat Lifesaver Course, and the Basic IT Networking Course. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Trident University and a certification in Lean Six Sigma.

CSM Teague’s awards and decorations include Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal (4th Award), Army Commendation Medal (7th Award), Army Achievement Medal (5th Award), Good Conduct Medal (9th Award), National Defense Service Medal (2nd Award), Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal (2 Bronze Stars), Iraq Campaign Medal (2 Bronze Stars), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal (2nd Award), NCO Professional Development Ribbon (4th Award), Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (4th Award), the Saudi Arabia Defense Medal, Kuwaiti Liberation Medal, Army Gold Recruiter Badge (3 Star Sapphire), and the Combat Action Badge. CSM Teague is an inductee of the Royal Order of Bayonet and the Royal Order of Saint Barbara. He is also the recipient of the Bronze and Silver Orders of Mercury.
