COURSE DESCRIPTION:

    The SBOLC Course is 16 weeks in duratioon and is programmed to train 702 students annually (nine iterations with a maximum class size of 78 students. It provides Signal Corps lieutenants the specialzied Signal skills, doctrine, tactics and techniques designed to complement Warrior Tasks and Battle Drills and enable them to lead Soldiers in the contemporary operational environment.

     

    PURPOSE:


    This course prepares a Signal lieutenant for assignment as a Signal Platoon Leader in DoD Tactical Communications, Briage Combat Teams (BCT) or assigned as a Signal Staff Officer (S6).  This course is also the foundation for officer professional development.
