COURSE DESCRIPTION:

    The SBOLC Course is 16 weeks in duration and is programmed to train 702 students annually (nine iterations) with a maximum class size of 78 students. It provides Signal Corps Lieutenants the specialized Signal skills, doctrine, tactics and techniques designed to complement Warrior Tasks and Battle Drills and enable them to lead Soldiers in the Unified Land Operational environment.

     

    PURPOSE:

    The SBOLC mission is to provide newly commissioned Signal Officers with continued progressive and sequential training, to produce an adaptive Signal Officer, steeped in the profession of arms and who is technically/tactically competent, confident, and capable of leading in unified land operations in every operating environment upon arrival at their first unit of assignment.

    • Module C - Combat Network Radio (CNR)
    • Module D - Network Fundamentals
    • Module E - Signal Core
    • Module F - Anny Battle Command Systems (ABCS)
    • Module G - Network Operations (General Dynamics)
    • Module H - Planning Exercise
    • Module I - Capstone
