SLC - 1SG

Congratulations! On behalf of the Senior Leader Course and the Signal Regimental Noncommissioned Officer Academy, welcome to the Senior Leader Course (SLC).

The mission of SLC is to enhance and evaluate the professional attributes and leadership skills of all senior leaders assigned to attend. This will promote self-confidence and a sense of responsibility expected of Senior Noncommissioned Officers serving in the vast positions on today's modern battlefield. SLC will improve your confidence and inspire you to willingly carry out your duties as a leader and mentor. It is a student led course with supervision and assistance from staff and cadre.

SLC has no challenges we cannot handle or obstacles that students cannot overcome. With this in mind, prepare yourself with a positive attitude and the confidence that you can achieve and will graduate. We will provide you with the training and motivation to accomplish this task. We have instructed our cadre to provide as much assistance as possible and also to aid and assist you in every way. In order to accomplish this, a basic set of standards and discipline must be developed within each student. We will place you in a challenging environment, and assist you in your journey to become an SLC graduate. Remember, "Graduation is the mark and motivation and teamwork are the keys."

SET THE STANDARD, LEAD THE WAY
